It is a comprehensive book (for 0-2 year olds' parents) filled with examples from experienced and kind parents. I especially loved it because it was the first book I have read that was FOR attachment parenting. I'll be very honest: when I first started reading it, I was relieved, because I was finally reading a "modern" book preaching old ways. I needed this moral support for myself, as a first time mum.

I have bookmarks for every stage (e.g. 12-15 months) and go back to reading it to make sure my baby and I are where we should be.

I particularly like the pages where age milestones are listed with bullet points.

Very trustworthy source, particularly for first-time parents.

The one I have for myself has been used so often the pages and falling out. It is a very thick book that contains almost everything you need to know about raising a 0-2 year old. I say almost because I needed to get a breastfeeding book because it doesn't go into enough detail there.

I particularly like the chapters that read like a first aid manual on what to do with if baby has all kinds of accidents e.g. head trauma to burns to all types of sicknesses. I found just having the detailed information about how to treat a fever (e.g. the difference between ibuprofen and paracetamol) when it happens in the middle of the night just the most comforting and useful.

I have since purchased 2 more copies for friends.
