Natalie boldly goes where no girl has gone before in this fresh, funny peek inside the male mind! Natalie writes the relationship column for her high school newspaper. Then she is accused of knowing nothing about guys and giving girls bad relationship advice, so she decides to disguise herself as a guy and spend a week at Underwood Academy, the private all-boys boarding school in town. And in the process, she learns about guys, though in ways she never expected. But when she starts to fall for her dreamy roommate, things get even more complicated. The fun doesn't stop in this light, lively offering for teen girls.

Favourite Quote: "I despise the rituals of fake friendship. I wish we could just claw each other's eyes out and call it a day; instead we put on huge radiant smiles and spout compliments until our teeth hurt from the saccharine sweetness of it all."
This was a light, funny, feel-good book that was the perfect summer read for me! Although it's not in my top contemporary books, I would still recommend. I give this book a 3/5 stars!
The plot reminded me of the movie She's The Man, kind of the same story - girl pretends to be a boy, falls for her roommate, makes true friends with the guys etc but the drama aspect made sure it was unique! I felt it was cheesy at some parts but it didn't make me cringe instead it made me smile! But the plot overall was entertaining and hilarious plus it did give a good insight to male and females minds!
As for the characters I really liked and connected with Natalie, she was the perfect main character for this type of book. She was witty, funny, girly and so on, a great character. Then there's Emilio who was just perfect I loved him, the perfect boyfriend in my eyes! Natalie's best friends were great as well, liked them a lot. Another favourite character of mine was Tyler, he was just the right amount of nerdy and sweet!
Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, light, summer read!
"Will challenge girls' perceptions about the opposite sex even as they enjoy a quick humorous read." - School Library Journal
