You'll also hear from experts who discuss whether 'Aspie girls' are slipping under the radar, undiagnosed; why many AS women feel like a minority within a minority (outnumbered by men 4:1); practical solutions school systems can implement for girls; social tips for teenage girls, navigating puberty, the transition to work or university, and the importance of careers.

Reviews for Asperger's and Girls

  • Reassuring and readable5

Mary-Anne As the mother of a recently diagnosed 16 year old Aspie girl, I bought this book to supplement my wider reading, and also as a general information guide for the rest of the family to dip into. It is very readable and contains MUCH reassuring information for parents and families of girls with Asperger's. My daughter has also been reading it and it seems it is allowing her to work out where she fits in, and is providing her with knowledge of how to cope in the world at large. by Mary-Anne
