Renique Males This was my first Moskowitz cookbook and I am happy to say that it completely lives up to the other written reviews.
The entire book is an enticing read; Isa writes in a light-hearted and easy-going fashion, which sets the mood for the kind of recipes you'll find in this book.
All recipes are for entrees/main courses - no desserts, baking etc. which makes it perfect for an everyday "what's for dinner" companion.
No alternative or processed ingredients - makes good use of basic foods such as beans, lentils, vegetables and grains. All very basic ingredients but brought together in very different ways.
Contains a high number of gluten free and soy free recipes, with other recipes containing suggestions for making them GF/soy free.

Highly recommend this for anyone - vegan or not, beginner or not. by Renique Males

  • Fantastic cookbook! Changed my cooking life!5

Louise Cowpertwait So good to have a cookbook packed with low fat, low calorie, nutrient packed recipes that are so delicious too! My friends have been impressed with what I have made them from this. I love the Mac and Trees, Cool Slaw, and baked tofu recipe. It inspired me to try new ingredients (nutritional yeast, agave syrup, and blended nuts for creamy dressings) but wasnt over-the-top dependant on specialised ingredient. It also inspired a new found love of filling salads (i.e. by including grains) by Louise Cowpertwait

  • Isa Chandra always perfect!5

Irene I love Chandra's books. All her recipes are delightful, easy and in this book low fat too! The explanations are fresh and funny, and the dishes have a complete nutritional information. by Irene

Emily Pinkus This cookbook changed my life! I love the cheeky descriptions of the recipes, the cover art-work and the additional tips that Isa gives to make recipes easier. Most of all I love the recipes themselves - healthy and oh so delicious. Try spinach linguini with edamame pesto, Moroccan chickpeas and zucchini or upside-down lentil shepherd's pie (which has been a hit for veggie and meat eaters alike). Buy it now - you won't be disappointed. by Emily Pinkus
