Have an open mind
I got this book from the library and read it cover to cover over a weekend. Having been on many (and I really mean many) 'diets' over the last 30 years I had actually given up on every loosing weight again. I am a chocoholic, but also a food teacher so know my stuff and know what is good and bad, etc. After reading this book I did feel Allen Carr had a convincing argument on many things, and a few that I could disagree with. (I was a bit surprised that he thinks a Koala is a bear, when it's a marsupial). But hey, I wanted to lose weight and he does say keep an open mind. I also used the Hypnotherapy DVD and found it very relaxing. I started the very next day with ease and have been on it for 2 weeks losing 3.5kg. I am finding it easy, healthy and love that I have no more 'brain fog' from sugar! He doesn't say you have to be Vegan at all. He explains why he thinks humans should not eat meat, as someone with an anthropology degree I found his argument convincing. I have gone off dairy foods after reading the book and reduced my meat intake dramatically. If you having nothing else to lose but the weight, try it. Happy reading. :-) by Vanessa Taylor
