About Herge

Herge, one of the most famous Belgians in the world, was a comics writer and artist. The internationally successful Adventures of Tintin are his most well-known and beloved works. They have been translated into 38 different languages and have inspired such legends as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Customer reviews

This might seem an affordable and savvy way to get your Tintin collection in one go and as hardcovers. However, this series is missing three books (I beleive these are Tintin in the Congo, Tintin and the Land of the Soviets and Tintin and the Alpha Art) and is much smaller than the usual single issued versions. Thus if you are a serious collector or love the single versions size I would reccomend against buying this version. You of course can buy this and the 3 missing books to get your collection and it much more affordable at roughly 150-170 compared to getting all 24 books individually as hardcover I have rated the actual collection (of my friend) not the stories. Tintin is always 6/5!show more
