I'm lactose intolerant, so baking has always been a bit tricky for me. I usually adapt regular recipes to my ingredients (almond milk, soy yoghurt, etc), but often the results are somewhat disappointing. This book has completely revolutionized baking for me. The recipes are ranked according to difficulty and range from savoury breads to cakes and pies. The best part is that there are no weird ingredients that are impossible to find - everything here is easily located in your local supermarket. The Red Velvet Cupcakes were absolutely wonderful; none of my friends could believe that they were vegan!
